ViaMotive is not a traditional company. As a multi-brand dealer for brands such as Higer, Temsa and EVM, we provide smart solutions for professional passenger transport.

With the growing number of electric buses, our workshop is changing too. That's why we're looking for a skilled Diagnostic Bus Technician to join our team.

At ViaMotive, you will diagnose technical problems on modern buses and work together with your colleagues to get our vehicles safely back on the road. Every day is different and offers new technical challenges.

Your job

As a Diagnostic Technician, you will find, analyse and solve technical problems on buses.

Your tasks include:

  • Diagnosing technical faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Reading fault codes and electrical diagrams.
  • Solving mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs.
  • Testing vehicles after repairs.
  • Helping colleagues with more complex technical issues.
  • Learning about new technologies, including electric buses.

Vereisten

Who are you?

  • You have a degree in Automotive Technology, Electromechanics, or similar experience.
  • You have experience as a diagnostic technician, bus technician or truck technician.
  • You have a good knowledge of mechanics, electricity and electronics.
  • You have experience using diagnostic tools.
  • You have a category B driving licence (category D is a plus).
  • You can communicate in English or Dutch.
  • You work accurately, care about quality and enjoy working in a team.

Experience with electric vehicles or an HEV2 certificate is an advantage, but not required. A strong technical mindset and willingness to learn are just as important.

Practical

  • Day shift from Monday to Friday.
  • Roadside assistance is mainly during working hours. If you are willing to help outside working hours when needed, this is a plus.

  • Middelbare school (A2)
  • Secundair onderwijs

  • 2 jaar relevante ervaring,

    Taken uitvoeren zonder ondersteuning of toezicht van anderen.

    Handelen in overeenstemming met de waarden en normen van de organisatie.
    Aandacht hebben voor kwaliteit en fouten voorkomen.
    Ontleden van een probleem en aanvullende informatie zoeken.
