Job description

We are looking for an experienced plant researcher with a critical mindset to join our team. The selected candidate will be running plant experiments, ranging from in vitro experiments over greenhouse trials to field trials, to support our research/product pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performing plant experiments, analyzing results and ensuring high standards of safety and quality control. Ideally the candidate would have experience in different crops like corn, wheat and others.

The role requires a strong background in plant science and/or agronomy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support research or industrial microbiology applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute in vitro assays and greenhouse experiments. Collect, document and analyze data with attention to detail. Report back to supervisors.
• Support and follow up on field trials with external parties.
• The role also involves creating formulated samples (for testing in plants and other setups).
• Understand relevance of the test procedures and product specifications to the end-use requirements of the business.
• Is aware of progress and innovation in laboratory techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize experimental procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
