Version 2024.06<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n These competition rules establish the rules regarding the conditions of participation for all competitions organized by JobFunders BV via its website, app, or other communication channels (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, \u2026).<\/span><\/p>\n In addition, specific competition regulations or specific conditions of participation may apply per competition. If one or more provisions deviate from these regulations, the provisions of the specific competition regulations shall prevail.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 1.1 Our competitions are open to any natural person residing in Belgium, with the exception of employees and directors of JobFunders BV.<\/span><\/p>\n 1.2 Minors may only participate in a competition if they have express permission from one of their parents or guardians. If a minor participates in a competition, JobFunders BV assumes that he\/she has permission from his\/her parents\/guardian. If the minor cannot provide this permission, he or she may be denied further participation in the competition or his or her right to a prize at any time.<\/span><\/p>\n 1.3 By the mere fact of participating, the participant acknowledges having accepted these regulations and any specific competition rules.<\/span><\/p>\n 1.4 The participant owes JobFunders BV no compensation whatsoever for participation in a competition.<\/span><\/p>\n 1.5 Only one member of the same family or living at the same address can win a prize within the same competition. The date of participation is decisive in this regard.<\/span><\/p>\n 1.6 Anyone who wins a prize without fully complying with all participation conditions automatically forfeits their right to the prize, without compensation and without any recourse against JobFunders BV.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 2.1 The period during which the competition runs will be communicated in the announcement of the relevant competition. This period may be changed by JobFunders BV at any time.<\/span><\/p>\n 2.2 In the event that the competition involves a knowledge question, the participant is asked to provide the correct answer. If multiple participants submit a correct answer, the winner will be selected at random.<\/span><\/p>\n 2.3 In the event that the competition involves a creative contribution by the participant, such as a photo, text, or video, the winner or winners will be determined by JobFunders BV based on the objective evaluation criteria established by us, as listed in our specific competition rules. By participating in a competition involving a creative contribution, the participant grants JobFunders BV permission, free of charge, to publish this creative contribution without any limitation in time or space on the website(s) of JobFunders BV and our other online channels. The participant declares that they possess the necessary rights to permit this use of their creative contribution and indemnifies JobFunders BV against all possible claims in connection with their creative contribution. This therefore implies that a creative contribution must be original, may be created solely by the participant(s), and must not incorporate any copyrighted or otherwise protected material from third parties (unless they possess all necessary permissions from the rights holders). JobFunders BV is in no way obliged to actually publish and use a creative contribution and may remove a creative contribution at any time and for any reason.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 3.1 The personal data that JobFunders BV collects about the participants will be included in the JobFunders BV address database for the purpose of contacting the competition participants regarding the further course of the competition. When requesting and processing personal data, the administrator of the address database will respect privacy and act in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. JobFunders BV will not disclose the personal data to third parties.<\/span><\/p>\n 3.2 By participating, participants agree that if they win a prize, they may appear with a photo, name, and place of residence on the website and other online channels under the editorial responsibility of JobFunders BV.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 4.1 The prize won is personal and cannot be transferred to someone else. The prize cannot be exchanged or converted into cash.<\/span><\/p>\n 4.2 JobFunders BV may change a price at any time for productional or content-related reasons.<\/span><\/p>\n 4.3 If the price includes the right of access to participate in a specific activity (such as an event, guided tour, etc.), the price comprises only that right of access, unless stated otherwise. It is the organizer of the activity who determines all the conditions. For example, they may require attendance at a specific time or place, limit the right of access in time, or set age requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n 4.4 If the prize is a gift voucher, its validity may be limited in time.<\/span><\/p>\n 4.5 If the prize concerns items for which a warranty scheme for consumer goods applies, such as electrical and electronic devices, the right to warranty is exercised directly with the manufacturer or importer.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 5.1 JobFunders BV is not responsible for any possible damage, bodily injury, or accidents that may occur as a result of winning a prize and\/or participating in a competition.<\/span><\/p>\n 5.2 JobFunders BV is not responsible for the inability to deliver a prize if the participant provided insufficient, incomplete, or incorrect contact details during participation.<\/span><\/p>\n 5.3 JobFunders BV is not responsible for any shortcomings of postal and\/or courier companies in the delivery of a prize (such as delay, damage, strike, or loss).<\/span><\/p>\n 5.4 When delivering a prize requiring urgency (such as, for example, the right of access to an event), the participant may be asked to be available by telephone or email at a specific time. This will be stated on the competition page. Participants are responsible for checking whether the relevant email communication is being filtered out as spam by their email provider. In the event of the winner being unreachable or responding late, JobFunders BV may award the prize to another participant, without any recourse.<\/span><\/p>\n 5.5 If the prize is not collected by the winner within the specified period or if the winner fails to complete the required (confirmation) formalities within the specified period, the participant forfeits their right to the prize and JobFunders BV may award the prize to another participant, without any recourse.<\/span><\/p>\n 5.6 Printing, spelling, typesetting, or other errors, as well as technical problems (including those related to email communication), cannot be invoked as grounds for any obligation whatsoever on the part of JobFunders BV. If JobFunders BV is forced to postpone, shorten, or withdraw a competition, amend the competition rules, or adjust the competition format, JobFunders BV cannot be held liable for this in any way.<\/span><\/p>\n 5.7 JobFunders BV reserves the right to suspend or withdraw the competition at any time in each individual jurisdiction if it is compelled to do so for legal reasons or for compelling self-regulatory reasons, without any right to compensation or redress for the participants. If changes are made to the regulations, these will be communicated on the website and\/or other online channels under the editorial responsibility of JobFunders BV.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 6.1 JobFunders BV supervises the proper conduct of the competition. In the event that not all conditions of the regulations have been met, or in the event of abuse, deception, fraud, or bad faith, JobFunders BV reserves the right to exclude the participant concerned from the competition and also to exclude him \u2013 whether permanently or not \u2013 from other competitions \u2013 whether online or not \u2013 organized by JobFunders BV. In such cases, JobFunders BV also reserves the right to request the participant to return any prize already awarded and to claim compensation for damages suffered by JobFunders BV (including reputational damage).<\/span><\/p>\n 6.2 The result of a competition is binding and irrevocable. It cannot be challenged. No correspondence (by letter, e-mail, or telephone) may be entered into regarding the result and the conduct of a competition. Announcements of winners are final.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 7.1 If a competition is organized jointly with one or more parties, the provisions of these regulations referring to JobFunders BV shall be read as referring to both JobFunders BV and the co-organizer(s).<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 8.1 By participating in online competitions of JobFunders BV, the participant fully accepts these competition rules and all decisions that JobFunders BV will make in connection with the competition. All additional announcements in connection with the competition shall be considered part of the rules.<\/span><\/p>\n 8.2 If required, JobFunders BV may amend these competition rules at any time. However, the old terms and conditions of participation will continue to apply to the competitions running at that time.
